Before you can start any other software, that uses HAMcast API and stack, you must configure and start the HAMcast middleware. To configure the HAMcast middleware see [config here].

=== Programs and Tools ===

All software based on the common multicast API and network stack provided by HAMcast need its library (libhamcast) and a running middleware (see above). If you have not installed ''libhamcast'' to standard folders, e.g. {{{/usr/lib/}}}, you must specifiy the environment variable {{{LD_LIBRARY_PATH}}} pointing to libhamcast path. 

To do so, run:

./<program>

or
